Hamilton

5.07 Wild Dahlia was doing all her best work in the finish over a mile last time out, so the step up in trip is likely to suit.

She's forecast to be 6s, and William haggas won this race last year. It's interesting that Cierren fallons come all the way up here for a few rides.

7.45 Lord bertie is on my radar now as he's 5lb below his last winning mark, and I thought at York last time out finished like the spark was on its way back on gf ground. He's a soft ground horse, and there has been rain in the area.. ground is gs good in places.

He's a bit of a monkey and will want things to pan out just right, but there's a strong pace forecast that will suit him, and a small play at double figures wouldn't be too bad. He will be going in at some point soon with the rain softened ground because he's well handicapped. Forecast to be 14s

Salisbury

5.27 Darvel won this race last year easily off this mark of 68 and he's ran some eye catching races the last 3 times to suggest he's in good form and with Freddie tett on board again might be able to repeat the feat and play a hand in the finish again at a forecast price of 6s.
