Analysis for 7th of August

Newmarket

7.12 The caltonian yard in good form 5 winners from 10 runners. Murphy booked, "Horse is better on all-weather, but off 69, having run an eye-catching race last time out at Ayr in a class 3 must have a chance here dropping into a class 4. Long way to bring this horse. Forecast 12s, probably 7s.

Fifty Nifty yard in good form, shrewd outfit, best runs been here at Newmarket and having run on all-weather last twice back on turf here might have a small chance.

Handicapper didn't drop him for finishing nearly last for his Southwell run. Forecast to be 16s.

At big prices, only we'd play the pair against the field very small.
