4:53 Wolverhampton Desert Belle 9/2-7/2
Desert Belle is relatively unexposed in handicaps having only had four lifetime starts and drops down in class from a 4 to a 5. The run at Kempton behind Club Class and Golden Muse was pretty good, and she looked like playing a part before the front two pulled away, but she kept on well, and getting dropped a pound is generous. If she can take a lead here that seemed to suit her last time and can pounce late on.
Forecast to be around 7s, that would be fair, and i wouldn’t mind going as low as 5s for a small interest.
7.55 Luan 9/2-13/8 won last time out at Newcastle beating the ubermensch who won next time out so that form is working out fairly well and with Billy booked and the step up in trip hopefully suiting as he was strong in the finish and just a 4lb penalty he looks likely to play a part in the finish from a good draw and forecast to be 9/2.
Beverley
3.48 melting snow 8-7/2, looks interesting stepping up in trip and first time in a handicap off a mark of 62.
She was outpaced over 7.5 furlongs here at Beverley in a class 4 maiden and had much higher rated horses in front of her that day so up in trip and into a class 6 handicap could be the time to catch her and at a forecast price of 10s it's all about VALUE. 7s and above would be OK for a small play.
