7.00 tiger beetle is a horse I tried to buy around August 2024. The trainer at the time initially said hed sell him, but during conversations he asked if id be happy to go novice hurdling as if he managed to win one hed be worth a lot of money and i said id want to tee him up for a tilt over 9f at Wolverhampton as hes proven ability in that sphere. Anyway he said he wanted to go hurdling so I didn't pursue it and then all of a sudden no hurdling and he's sold for 3k to Tom faulkner. I'm thinking a 386 day break something has gone wrong injury wise maybe over hurdles at home or something.

Been running in class 5s and is now 8lb below last winning mark and into a class 6. To be honest I'm surprised he's been dropped so little beaten basically out of sight since his break and been running over 14f and 12f. I personally think he's deliberately not been put into the races and ultimately you can probably take the form figures or distances beaten with a pinch of salt. I'm merely interested to see how he goes on the Market and if not strong I'll be watching with future races in mind. He could run in easier races than this aswel seeing as we have a few inform horses but he's one for us to keep an eye on.

Stipulation Corundum and magic runner are all obvious and ultimately I'd leave the race alone unless I can see something interesting with tiger and I would suggest waiting until near the off to see if he's strong in the market or not because ultimately if he's not fancied he'll probably come nearer last than 1st.

7.30 Francesco baracca we managed to get last time out over the 14f here and up only 3lb over a cd which saw his easiest win to date must have a fair chance of repeating the dose.

He will be held up and should be travelling well and hopefully coming with a strong challenge towards the end. I would want a price though say 11/4 or bigger as he has to get the gaps so you don't want to be too short with him.

Market House is a danger, I thought he ran well behind Zryan in a 0-85 over an inadequate 9.5 furlongs here at wolves only beaten 3 and 3 quarter lengths. Stepped up in trip to 2m and second time out after wind surgery he could be ready to go with tongue tie reapplied for the upwardly mobile James Owen Yard.
