Wolverhampton and Newmarket analysis for 17th of July.

Wolverhampton

2.43 veil of clouds looks interesting first time in a handicap especially based on her 6f run in 2nd at Southwell in a class 4 fillies novice race behind Town choice who herself hasn't run since, but in 3rd star velocity has won a class 4 maiden and in 4th planet seeker has subsequently won a class 2 fillies handicap at Newmarket doing handstands by 3.5 lengths off a mark of 85 so a mark of 69 for veil of clouds should be well within range.

Last time out over 7f at Kempton when 11/8 favourite on another class 4 novice race we felt the drop back to 6f would suit and into handicap company aswel.

She's forecast to be 9/2, and anything above 4s would be OK for a small play.

3.53 Court of Stars is a bit of a boom or bust, but forecast to be 16s, she could be worth a small chance.

We put her up in the analysis back in May off this mark with Murphy on board, and she really should have won only beaten a head finishing with purpose.

She then ran behind Dublin bay who we put up that day and she had no chance off 70 against Dublin who absolutely bolted up by 7 lengths but she finished 2nd so not a bad run again over this cd.

In June things didn't pan out over a mile at Windsor when she reared at the start and over 9.5 furlongs here at wolves last time out in a 0-75 she moved out to challenge with a furlong and a half to go and at the furlong pole she just faded out of it suggesting the drop back to this trip will help. And that race we think was quite good for the grade.

Back into a fillies race and a 0-70 from a good draw, she could bounce back at a decent price for a small play.

Double figures or more would be OK.

5.35 Bone marra has an all-weather record of 4 runs, 3 wins, and a second, and the second might have been a win with a clear run, so in all a good record.

He's a cd winner and up just 3lb for his last win, and from a good draw, we'd expect him to go well again at a forecast price of 7/2.

We wouldn't want less than 3s for him, but his chance is there for all to see.

Newmarket

7.33 Rocking ends has won this race 2 years on the spin so they're seemingly trying for a 3rd time having taken a similar path as last year and as he won in August last year off 90 a mark of 85 back into a class 4 shouldn't be beyond him.

Cierren fallon has been riding well this season, and at a forecast price of 7s, the value would be fair for a small play.

5s or above would be OK.
